Course Details

B Sc Agriculture is a 4 years undergraduate degree program approved by Indian Universities for 10+2 students preferably with Science stream. B.Sc. in Agriculture is considered as a professional degree by Government of India. The course is not so popular among students but the demand for trained professionals in agriculture is very high so the subject is considered as of great demand.

B. Sc. Agriculture involves the study of agricultural sciences and use of modern scientific equipment and techniques in agriculture, land surveying, soil science, water resource management, animal, and poultry management, basics of biotechnology etc. The objective of the course is to use these concepts to train students in the field of agriculture with a motive to improve agricultural aspects. B.Sc. Agriculture Syllabus includes subjects such as Agronomy, Plant Biochemistry, Water Management Engineering, Study of Pests and Crops, amongst many others. The syllabus is designed to provide an overall knowledge of agriculture and all its related disciplines.
